Weirdest Rules on the Lone Star Roads
Driving in Texas is a way of life. Though we’re the biggest state in the continental 48 (curse you Alaska!), if a Texan is traveling from one end of the state to the other, you probably won’t find a us taking a plane or train; we’re going to drive.
Maybe it’s the wide-open spaces and sense of boundless freedom that get us Texans going so strong for motoring. But once we get out on that endless highway, all our worries seem to melt away; well, except for the threat of bashing one of those omnipresent white-tailed deer. (more…)
The Chevrolet Impala is something of a legend. Having made its debut as a top trim for the Bel-Air in 1958, Chevrolet’s flagship passenger car has been featured prominently in pop culture. It’s appeared in multiple classic hip-hop lyrics and boasted an engine that inspired a Beach Boys song. Though it’s gone through many changes since its debut, it remains a safe, reliable, and economical full-size car.
